Knockin' By Luminescent Orchestrii

Luminescent Orchestrii was recommended to me last night. I was told "imagine Beirut and o'death playing together with classical precision." After some clicking I found Luminescent Orchestrii describe themselves thusly... "Romanian gypsy melodies, punk frenzy, salty tangos, hard-rocking klezmer, haunting Balkan harmony, hip-hop beats and Appalachian fiddle, all eaten and spit out by two violins, resophonic guitar, bullhorn harmonica and bass." Sound good to me.

Listen: "Knockin'" (mp3)

Consider Clicking
- Are you [sick of/in love with] the 90's yet? Maybe this will help. Parts three and four of the captain's dead ultimate 90’s radio mix... here and here.

- I haven't seen the classic NME C81 tape posted anywhere recently. That is, until now, 17 Seconds posted it cut up into individual tracks mediafire-sytle... here.

- Did you get your free comic book yet?

- If you aren't thrilled with the present Kills material, perhaps you'll like what The Bloody Beetroots do to it. More about that @ Badical Beats... here.

- If you consider Dead Child "fake hipster metal" (a charge I say "whatevs" to) maybe you should check out BrooklynVegan's This Week In Metal... here.

- Stuck On REPEAT (in my head)... "Aquaplanagerie" (box.net mp3) by Shepherdess
