- She may have been embraced by the indie community, but THIS is not "indie", OR insert some new term that actual means "independent" (as indie's indie credibility is waning). Why not shorten the word to simply, "ind"? Or take all the vowels out of the word independent, "ndpndnt". I like that one, but how to pronounce it?

- Detailed Twang brings out an ART THUMP muxtape... here.

- Do I even need to link here? Prolly not.

- Nothing But Green Lights checks out the dreamy indie or "ndpndnt" pop of It Hugs Back... here.

- Broken Social Scene Presents... more solo work from Broken Social members. This time it's Brendan Canning. Listen: "Hit The Wall" (mp3). More about the track @ p'fork... here. Oh, and drinkin' tea and watchin' football is not as funny as eatin' cereal and and watchin' porn.

Oh, and just a quick statement to all the "they're just 90's sounding, not 80's sounding like everything else coming out today" No Age naysayers:

No Age take me back to a 50's/early 60's stripped down rock 'n' roll sound. It just happens to have a massive layer of fuzz and feedback on top.
