The Broken Social Scene Minimix

I have here a minimix of Broken Social Scene. If you are seeing them tonight and you do not know these songs, there is probably something wrong with you. This is a little something to help you get psyched, that is unless you are a superfan in which case you certainly don't need my help. And if you are not a fan at all, perhaps you will give a listen and decide that you have misjudged these vistitors from the North. And if you are saying to yourself "Broken Social Who?"... scroll down right now and start listening.

My question for tonight is this: "Will this concert experience be any better than Apostle Of Hustle at Southpaw?" Because that show was friggin' amazing.

I'm not breaking any new ground here with this mix. Theses are songs that have been floating around the internets for a while now. I don't have any surreptitiously recorded tour demos or anything like that. Do enjoy them.

Downloadables:
"Love And Mathematics" (box.net mp3)
"Alive In 85" (box.net mp3)
"Stars And Sons" (box.net mp3)
"Cause = Time" (box.net mp3)
"Ibi Dreams Of Pavement (A Better Day)" (box.net mp3)
"Canada Vs. America"(box.net mp3)
"Major Label Debut (Fast)" (box.net mp3)

And as this is the "Something For All Of Us..." tour here is one of Mr. Canning's tunes.
"Hit The Wall" (box.net mp3)

Amazing band. Also remember to check out Do Make Say Think, if you don't know them (you should). Some of the members have often played with BSS.

Wait, so you want tinnitus? I'd sell my soul to Sarah Palin herself to get rid of mine.

Justin Small of Do Make Say Think played at the show tonight. I think I did a post on them a whiles back.

Re Tinnitus: I do NOT want it. It's a joke, a bad one. I am totally paranoid about my hearing.
