Grinding Halt (Cure Cover) By The Muslims a/k/a The Soft Pack

A good Cure cover?? Not an easy thing to find. Well, let me tell you, there is at least one worth listening to on Perfect as Cats: A Tribute to The Cure (which came out last year). It is by The Muslims d/b/a The Soft Pack. It is pretty faithful, methinks.

Don't Taunt A Tiger By Slothbear

Slothbear are batesmaroo, doblique, jamoots and palz. They have some new jams up at their myspace. Maybe when "Olio" is in a more final form it will show up in my inbox (hint hint).

Question: Did you know they are sworn zoocrats? They believe in, yes... rule by animals. This may have something to do with the fact that they are stuck out on Long Island.

Head Over Heels (Tears for Fears Cover) By We Versus The Shark

And here it is... the final Murmurmur cover as performed by Athens posthardcorers We Versus The Shark. And it is a Tears For Fears cover, not an REM cover. Oh well. I was really hoping for a cover of "Catapult" (youtube). No big woop. I will deal. I still think We Versus The Shark rock, and they are awesome for hooking up with donation based Quote Unquote Records on this project. Put a few bucks in their jar... here.
